Participate

Leave a memory where it belongs.

Participation is simple: find a marker, scan the code, answer one question, and decide whether you want to be contacted for a portrait or follow-up conversation.

For people who find a marker

You do not need to give your full name. A first name, initials, or anonymous submission is fine.

Your story is reviewed first. Nothing appears publicly until it is approved.

Portraits are optional. If the place matters to you and you want to be photographed there, you can opt in.

What to write

A memory, a person, a routine, a change, a loss, a small ritual, a reason you return, or something that happened once and stayed with you.

The best answers are not polished. They are specific.

Not a survey.

This is a public documentary archive. Your words may become part of a web page, exhibition, book, grant proposal, public talk, or future fieldwork connected to the place where you submitted them.
